From Healthcare Operations to Microsoft Cloud Administration

Operating Under Pressure

My healthcare background developed strong skills in incident handling, structured problem-solving, documentation, and working reliably in regulated environments. I have experience following strict procedures, managing priorities under pressure, and maintaining accuracy in situations where operational reliability is critical.

Building Structured Systems

My civil engineering background developed analytical thinking, systems understanding, and a methodical approach to solving complex problems. I apply these skills to Microsoft technologies by analysing configurations, understanding dependencies, and building reliable technical solutions.

Building Towards Identity and Cloud Administration

I am transitioning into Microsoft IT with a focus on cloud administration, identity management, and secure access control. I am developing practical experience across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Windows administration, and PowerShell through structured hands-on labs and technical documentation.

Current Focus and Direction

Microsoft Entra ID and Identity Administration:
Hands-on development in identity lifecycle concepts, authentication, authorisation, RBAC, Conditional Access fundamentals, and sign-in log analysis within Microsoft Entra ID environments.

Microsoft Cloud Administration Foundations:
Building practical knowledge across Azure resources, Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint management concepts, and Windows environments, with a focus on user support, access management, and operational reliability.

Security-Focused Administration:
Developing an understanding of how identity, access control, authentication events, and security monitoring contribute to protecting modern cloud environments.

Long-Term Direction:
My long-term goal is to specialise in Identity & Access Management and Cloud Security, combining operational IT experience with Microsoft cloud expertise.
